What is SQLSaturday?

It's a one day free training event for SQL Server professionals organized by a local user group. It takes a lot of work and a lot of volunteers, but it's also a lot of fun!

Guiding Principles

We're trying to keep the entire process as light weight as possible, but we do expect event organizers to follow these principles:

Are they are any requirements about who can organize a SQLSaturday?

We're willing to provide support to any group that wants to organize an event and is willing to stick to our guiding principles. We want you to succeed if you decide to try it, and in that spirit we believe groups that meet the following criteria will be the best candidates:
