Victor Isakov (MCA, MCM, MCSM, MCT, MVP) is a Database Architect and trainer who provides consulting and training services to various organizations in the public, private, and NGO sectors globally. He regularly speaks at international conferences such as Microsoft TechEd/Ignite, PASS Summit, IT/Dev Connections, and SQLSaturdays.
Victor has written a number of books on SQL Server and has worked with Microsoft to develop the SQL Server exams and certification. In 2017 he authored "Exam Ref 70-764 Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure (1st Edition)".
He is one of only three non-Microsoft, Microsoft Certified Architects in the world.
Darren Gosbell has been working with the Microsoft Data Platform since 1999. He has practical experience implementing data warehousing and business intelligence solutions for some of Australia’s largest corporations. Darren has been awarded as a Microsoft MVP SQL Server since 2006 in recognition of his contribution to the community specially in the areas of Analysis Services, MDX and DAX. Darren is a contributor to a number of open source projects including BIDS Helper, DAX Studio and ASStoredProcedures.
Paul White is an independent SQL Server technical consultant, specializing in performance tuning. He lives in Paraparaumu, New Zealand, and has worked with SQL Server since version 6. Paul writes a highly-regarded SQL Server technical blog and has been a SQL Server MVP since 2011.
Heidi Wilson is an independent SQL Server Consultant and Microsoft Certified Trainer. Heidi has over 10 years of experience working with SQL Server and specialises in the design and implementation of highly available and disaster recoverable SQL Server solutions. Heidi regularly presents and volunteers at various events including SQLSaturday and SQL Server User Groups across Australia.
Paul te Braak is the principle consultant of abaX Data and has over a decade of experience in delivering reporting and business intelligence solutions across a variety of verticals. This experience includes systems auditing, planning and business simulation models that predict activity through heuristic rules imbedded into the model. He holds several qualifications including MCT, CA, MIT, MComm.
Peter ter Braake
Peter ter Braake, SQL Server MVP, co-founder of the Dutch PASS Chapter and organizer of the Dutch SQLSaturday, teaches SQL Server since 2002. Teaching is for Peter the perfect opportunity to share his SQL Server knowledge and his enthusiasm for the product. Since 2008 he works as an independent contractor giving him the opportunity to use his classroom experience in the real world and use his real world experience in the classroom.
Have been using MDS since the first release. I have customized the MDS backend database to meet our business needs such as replicating MDS using MS SQL peer to peer. I have developed MDS Admin tool https://mdsadministration.codeplex.com/ that I use for schema and data migration.
Jim McLeod is a Canberra-based SQL Server consultant with Ignia. Coming from a software development background, Jim chose to specialise in SQL Server in 2005, with a particular focus on database performance. Since then, Jim has worked with most aspects of SQL Server on databases of all sizes across a large number of industries, with the focus in the past few years on data warehousing, Azure and Analytics.
Kristina has been a DBA for the past 15 years, with a number of companies including IBM, and Telstra. She made the move over to Microsoft, and now gets to play with technology and tell others about how it can help them!
Stefan Riedel has been working with databases for more than 15 years, the last 10 of which have been focused on Microsoft SQL Server. Stefan has led and contributed to the implementation of many data warehouse and business intelligence solutions built using the Microsoft BI stack. To support these projects Stefan has designed and implemented automated testing and deployment tooling to support agile BI development methodologies. Stefan has presented at previous SQLSaturday events in Melbourne, Brisbane and Singapore.
Martin has 20 years’ experience in SQL Server technologies. His experience spans both the Database Engine and infrastructure requirements, and Data Warehousing and BI implementations.
He has worked across many industry sectors including London’s global financial institutions and both State and Federal Government Departments.
He is a SQL Server MVP, MCT and an experienced conference presenter, having presented at PASS Summit, SQLBits, and SQLSaturday events and User Groups round the world
Vikas is passionate about anything data. He has worked in consulting and core software development roles, and delivered solutions ranging from few MB sized Master Data to multi-billion 100+TB scalable data systems using Microsoft and other Data Technologies. Other than data, Vikas enjoys trekking, long walks, mentoring, visualization and automation (in no particular order!).
Mladen Prajdić is a Data Platform MVP from Slovenia. He's been programming for 20 years, developing diﬀerent types of applications in .Net (C#) and SQL Server, ranging from standard line-of-business, image-processing applications to high performace and IoT applications. He's a regular speaker at various conferences and usergroup meetings, really likes to optimize slow SQL statements, analyze performance, and find unconventional solutions to difficult SQL Server problems. In his free time, he also develops a very popular add-in for SSMS, called the SSMS Tools Pack (www.ssmstoolspack.com).
Grant Paisley is a Data Platform MVP and founder of Angry Koala, a Microsoft Business Intelligence partner based in Sydney, Australia. Grant is president of the SQL Server Usergroup Sydney and created http://reportsurfer.com, a community built around reporting, where you can also run the reports. He was contributing author for quot;SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services with MDXquot; and quot;Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Recipesquot;.
André Kamman is a DBA and SQL Server Solutions Architect for CloudDBA. He has done a lot of DBA work on 1000’s of servers where he discovered his love for Powershell, architecting SQL Server solutions, building and tuning ETL processes (with BIML). He also likes to work with MPP platforms APS and AzureDW. André is a Data Platform MVP, Dutch PASS Chapter Leader and organiser of SQLSaturday Holland.
Warwick Rudd is a Microsoft Certified Master – SQL Server 2008 and Principal Consultant at SQL Master Consulting. He is a frequent speaker at local SQL Server User Groups and SQLSaturday events in Australia. When not playing with the SQL stack, Warwick likes to get away to the cold and spend time snowboarding.

Peter Avenant is the Technical Director at Varigence Australia, an SSIS Developer, Trainer and Consultant, and SQL Server data warehouse specialist. His background includes developing a cloud metadata framework that integrates with BimlScript to create both data vault and dimensional data warehouses.
Kelly is an Information Management, Business Intelligence, and Project Management specialist with over fifteen years' experience in data warehouse development and a passion for understanding a client's need to create the most fit for purpose solution achievable.

Iman Eftekhari (MCSE BI, MCITP, CSP) has been involved in many successful BI implementations mainly with financial services, health and the public sectors.
He has presented at number of events such as PASS SQLSaturday Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Copenhagen,Sydney BI User Group, SQL Server User Group, etc.
Iman is the co-founder of the Agile BI consulting, co-organiser of the Sydney BI Social group (SYBIS) and Sydney Power BI User Group (PUG).
Cross a former Navy tactical jet pilot, Combat Air Medal recipient, Jet flight instructor, adversary pilot, and Certified Airline Transport Pilot with a current MCSE DP, SQL Server DBA and consultant with 15 years of technical experience and the result is … Nick, a seasoned DBA with nerves of steel and a unique perspective who blends the paradigms of aviation with DBA work, bringing lessons learned (some in blood) from both worlds to bear on critical situation handling.
Craig has been working with SQL Server for over 20 years and currently holds several SQL Server based certifications. He has also previously held an MCT certification. Craig's contribution to the SQL Server community was recognised in 2018 with a Microsoft MVP award. He was involved with Microsoft Learning to set some of the current SQL server Exams. Craig is the Chief Data Strategist at BiTQ. Craig is an organiser of the QLD Power BI User Group
Rod Colledge is the national BI practice lead for DWS, a leading publicly listed Australian IT Services company. With 15+ years of SQL Server experience, Rod#39;s commitment and depth of knowledge was recognized in 2010 with a Microsoft MVP award for SQL Server. This is Rod#39;s 6th consecutive year as an MVP. Rod has authored or contributed to three books, including the “SQL Server MVP Deep Dives” series. He#39;s a sought-after speaker at both local and international SQL Server conferences.
Reeves Smith, owner and principal architect of Macer Consulting, is passionate about applying data technologies that empower organizations. Reeves wields his knowledge and experience to lead, design, architect, and teach, working with both data center and business project teams. He approaches every project by first understanding the organization’s business challenges, and then developing a unique approach that targets those business needs accurately and effectively.
Reeves Smith has more than 20 years of experience working on the SQL Server stack. He is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP and Microsoft Certified Master, and regularly delivers technical presentations at international, regional, and local conferences and user groups.
Julie Koesmarno, MCSE Data Platform, and MCSE Business Intelligence, MCT, is a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, with a Bachelor’s degree in IT. She has over 10 years of experience working with SQL Server for large-scale and multi-million-dollar OLTP and ETL projects as a SQL Server developer and system analyst/designer. Her past projects include delivering a SQL Server 2012 data warehouse and BI solutions in the US and Australia. She now works with hybrid, cloud and on-prem SQL projects.
Rob Farley runs LobsterPot Solutions in Australia, where he's a consultant in the Microsoft Data Platform and Analytics space. He's been an MVP since 2006, probably because of his blogging, his presentations around the world, and his dedication to the Adelaide Data Analytics User Group which he has led since before the release of SQL Server 2005.
