Welcome to SQLSaturday #331

SQLSaturday is a training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This event will be held Sep 20 2014 at University of Denver - Driscoll Student Center, 2055 East Evans Avenue, Denver, CO 80208. Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of $10.00 so that we can provide a lunch - not pizza! Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

To get to the event on Saturday morning, we recommend using RTD Light Rail and getting off at the University of Denver station using the E, F or H lines. There are also many bus lines that stop near the University of Denver campus, which will work as well. If you have to drive, there is an RTD Park-n-Ride garage right at the University light rail station (1901 East Buchtel Boulevard, Denver, CO, 80210), which you can park at for free, assuming you are paying the RTD tax as part of your county taxes. You can check if you qualify for free parking by going to this RTD page (http://www.rtd-denver.com/HowToPark.shtml) just scroll down to Step 2 and type in your license plate number and it will tell you. There are also parking lots/garages in various locations on the University of Denver campus, but they will all require payment ($1.50/hour with $8 max). Make sure if you are using these lots/garages that you do use the automated payment systems, they will be ticketing cars on Saturday. We have created a document with directions and maps of campus that you can download and print which highlight how to get to the event and where to park. You can also use the interactive map and look for Driscoll Center North under Academic and Administrative section of the left navigation pane.

This year our event is being hosted by the University of Denver - University College Information and Communications Technology Program on the University of Denver campus! This location will give attendees a lot more choices on transportation as the University of Denver campus is right next to the RTD Light Rail and has many other public transportation options. We will be providing more information on parking and suggestions on getting around when we are closer to the event. Here is an interactive map of the campus that can be used for more information (event will be held in Driscoll Center North and Sturm Hall).
