Abstract: Alguna vez ha tenido que recuperar una base de datos SQL Server, para restaurar una tabla? Le han solicitado archivos de backups encriptados para cumplir con estándares de seguridad? Los respaldos de SQL Server utilizan al máximo los recursos de hardware disponible? Durante esta sesión veremos cómo recuperar un objeto de la base de datos sin tener que recuperar la BD completa, vea cómo podemos recuperar registros modificados directamente de los archivos de log y conozca los nuevos algoritmos para realizar backups de SQL Server hasta con un 90% de compresión.

Abstract: Contar con un “Disaster Recovery”, es una de las preocupaciones de muchos CIO, debido a la cantidad de diferentes sistemas, la complejidad de los mismos, el costo en dinero y operaciones de mantener un sitio alterno de recuperación, y no se hable de las pruebas, entre otras cosas más, hace que este sea un objetivo difícil de alcanzar. En esta sesión cubriremos las bases de “Site Recovery”, un muy poderoso servicio de Microsoft Azure, que nos permitirá implementar un “Disater Recovery”, para la mayoría de nuestras plataformas sean Windows o Linux, Hyper-V o VMWare.
