Sessions

This is a list of sessions from the event, based on the schedule in the XML files.

Title: Storage Spaces Direct : le géo-cluster SQL Server simplifié

Speaker(s):

  • Christophe Laporte

Track and Room: BI Platform Architecture, Development Administration - Main room #2

Title: Dashboard in a day

Abstract: Le Dashboard in a Day n’est pas d’une formation en tant que telle.

Title: SQL Server Transactional Replication: A Deep Dive

Abstract: Ah, SQL Server Transactional Replication. The technology everyone loves to hate. But for all the notoriety, there’s some interesting technology to be had in it that might you might want to leverage. In this session, we’ll explore what happens when you create a new transactional publication: what happens during a snapshot, how data gets delivered to subscribers, and how you can monitor, tweak, and tune your publications. We’ll also see some common trouble spots and how to identify them. There will be plenty of examples and demos and, yes, even some PowerShell!

Speaker(s):

  • Drew Furgiuele

Track and Room: Application Database Development - Main room #2

Title: Azure Data Lake, le big data 2.0

Title: SQL Server dans un conteneur Docker

Title: Seamless upgrade : mettre à jour un cluster SQL Server

Title: Scaling SSIS Package execution is the Server Deployment

Abstract: SSIS 2012 introduced a new way to deploy and execute SSIS package. But did you know that the execution can be done from a Stored Procedure? Come and see how we reverse engineer the server deployment model to horizontally scale the execution. Learn how you can scale your packages execution with elasticity.
