Welcome to SQLSaturday #174

The newly formed Charlotte BI Group (CBIG) is excited to bring SQLSaturday, BI Edition, to Charlotte.  This SQL Saturday training event is focused on Microsoft Business Intelligence topics.  We'll have sessions at varying levels, on a variety of subjects such as: ETL, Data Visualization, Self-Service BI, Data Quality, Master Data Management, OLAP, Big Data, SharePoint, Data Management, as well as SQL Server Administration.

Date of event:  Oct 27, 2012
Location: Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC), Levine Campus, 2800 Campus Ridge Road, Matthews, NC 28105 (located in South Charlotte)
Time: Breakfast and check-in start at 7:30 am.  Opening remarks are at 8:00 am.  First session begins at 8:30 am.  Closing remarks & raffle are at 5:00 pm.
Cost:  Admittance to this event is free.  There is an optional lunch fee of $10 so that we can provide you with a nice lunch if you choose to stay at the event to eat.

SQL Clinic will be here! Got a tough issue you're struggling with? Got an idea you'd like validated? Microsoft Customer Service & Support (CSS) Engineers will be on hand at SQL Clinic to help! Bring your error message, query syntax, or other details to see if the CSS Engineers can provide some guidance that'll help you get closer to solving your issue. Don't be shy about bringing them a question - these guys & gals love to solve problems! And, they're the voice of the customer back to the development teams so take this opportunity to chat with them.


After-Event Party:   After SQL Saturday is over....well, it's not over! Join us afterwards at Beantown Tavern, 130 Matthews Station Street, Matthews NC 28105.  It's located in the charming area of downtown Matthews, just a couple of miles away from CPCC.
