This year we will be having a western theme with games like SQL Rodeo and others with lots of Great Prizes as well as all of our great speakers and sponsors! We are proud to have Microsoft, Dell, and Xtivia as major sponsors. Microsoft's own Kevin Cox will be delivering our keynote as well as presenting!

In conjunction with the event, we are having a food drive to benefit the Westside Cares food pantry, which is located at the facility where the SQL Saturday event will take place. Our goal is simple - to collect so much food and groceries that they literally have to put up additional shelving to hold it all! There will be giveaways tied directly to participation in the food drive - the more you bring, the more chances you will have.

We have a lot of great sponsors who will be supplying us with plenty of SWAG, but for this event, they've really kicked it up a notch! For example, Xtivia has provided one of the coolest prizes we've ever seen for a SQL Saturday - a signed AC/DC guitar complete with certificate of authenticity! Dell computers has also generously supplied us with a Dell Tablet to give away.

Bring at least one item to receive a single ticket for the SWAG drawing. Or, go big and bring one or more grocery bags of items to receive 5 tickets for the SWAG drawing. (Remember to stick around for the closing - you must be present to win!In the end, this food drive is about giving back to our community. We hope that everyone will open their hearts and help out with a great cause. Below is a list of the grocery items most needed at this time.

Chris Shaw even posted on his blog regarding the food drive.

To help with the food drive, please feel free to reach out to our Food Drive Organizer, Troy, at troyk@42and5.com or our team at sqlsaturday297@sqlsaturday.com.

Thank you! We look forward to seeing you there!
