Welcome to SQLSaturday #236

SQLSaturday is a training event for SQL Server professionals and those wanting to learn about SQL Server. This event will be held Aug 3 2013 at 3545 Lindell Blvd, Saint Louis University's Center for Workforce & Organizational Development (The Wool Center) Second Floor, St. Louis, MO 63103. Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of 10.00 so that we can provide a lunch - not pizza! After a hugely successful 2012 event, this is the second annual SQL Saturday event in St.Louis. It will be a 5 track 300+ person event with sessions on the topics of Database Administration, Application Development, Business Intelligence and Professional Development. Please register soon as seating is limited, and let friends and colleagues know about the event.

Parking -Free parking is available for event attendees, in the SLU parking (Theresa)  lot across the building (Wool Center) on the other side of Olive Street. Please see the Location Page on this website for the Map. NO Parking passes are needed event attendees to park in this lot. Street parking is at your own risk. The City of St.Louis metered parking spots are no longer free on the weekends.

Women in Technology Panel -  If you find yourself rolling your eyes at another Women in Technology talk, then this session is DEFINITELY for you. WIT talks aren't exclusively for women, aren't time set aside for complaining about injustices. WIT talks ARE about finding new ways to make the exciting and lucrative IT field more accessible for our friends, and our children. Please join Julie Bloomquist, Kim Tessereau, Michael Lynn and  Kathi Kellenberger for a lively discussion about encouraging the next generation.

Floor plan of the venue - Please follow this link for the floor plan of the venue. This will help your familiarize your self with where the registration desk, classrooms and the facilities are. Please note that our event is on the 2nd  floor of the building - http://www.sqlsaturday.com/files/3d1db9a3-1585-4f86-8a2e-fb5395c9debf.SLU.floorplan.pdf

We had great SQL Saturday #236, the second annual St.Louis SQL Saturday event, on Aug 3. PASS plays a big role helping make any SQL Saturday event successful by providing the necessary infrastructure to run the event. SLU helped out a huge deal by providing the venue for this year's event, we could not have asked for any better facilities !

I would also like to thank the core team of organizers - Mike Lynn, Jay carter, Danielle Mayers and Kim Tessereau for putting in a lot of hard work to make this event possible. No SQL Saturday event is possible with out the contribution of the speakers who present and the generous support of the event sponsors. There's also tens of volunteers who help out at the registration desk, lunch line and classrooms, all of who deserve a big thanks.

Last but the not the least, all the attendees who took the time to attend this event on a Saturday and are passionate about learning as well the SQL Community, deserve a big round of applause as well.
