Welcome to SQLSaturday #162
SQLSaturday is a fun community driven training event for SQL Server professionals or those wanting to learn more about SQL Server and will consist of a paid pre-con Training day on Friday 7th September 2012 and a free SQLSaturday event on Saturday 8th September.
Arriving at the eventOnce you arrive at the event venue, you
will need to go to the SQLSaturday #162 registration desk which will be
officially open from 7.30 a.m but may be open slightly earlier. The desk
is located to the far right side of the hotel just before entrance into
the conference room area. As you make your way into the hotel front
doors, go up the escalator or stairs into the reception area and keep
walking to the back of the hotel where to your right the registration
desk will be visible. Make sure you have pre-printed your registration via SpeedPASS. You can access your SpeedPASS from via logging into the SQLSaturday website, clicking View Profile and then from the SQLSaturday Cambridge event listed click the printer icon in the SpeedPASS column. Please email sqlsaturday162@sqlsaturday.com if you have any difficulties.
The paid pre-con day will provide a choice from three unique training sessions over the course of the day, presented by world leading experts in their field at fantastic low prices. They are:- Data Visualisation Deep-Dive using SQL Server 2012 - Jen Stirrup (MVP)
- Buck Woody’s Ragtime DBA Workshop - Buck Woody (Microsoft)
- A Deep-Dive into the depths of the SQL Server storage engine and MDF file format - Mark Rasmussen (SQL Internals expert)

The free SQLSaturday event will be an excellent networking opportunity and comprise of three main tracks (DBA, DEV and BI) with a special Architect track. Presentations will be given by world renowed experts, MCMs, MVPs, Community Leaders and the very best of British!
